My Story

I have always had passion for the arts, and after years of studying and exploring creative trades such as sculpture, cinematography and video production, I found my feet in photography. This wasn’t expected - one day a couple of friends asked me to take pictures of their final year fashion designs, something clicked, and that was to be the start of my photography journey.

I leapt in, and found sheer joy in watching ideas, and collaborations come to life in the lens. I found so much inspiration from the street, and I always had a soft spot for using nature as my backdrop. I love color photography, and am fascinated with the interplay of light and space.

Since then, photography has become my career. I am a Senior photographer at the Natural History Museum, I have taught many groups start up and intermediate photography, and at Lucie Goodayle Photography my aim is to help clients promote their brand with a natural and relaxed approach. This can include; intriguing behind the scenes, on location portraits, documenting events, and visual storytelling. I see photography as an exciting journey, each photo is a reflection of my unique perspective and the connections I form with my subjects.
